Tool Information

DeAP Learning Lab provides free AI-powered chatbots that help students improve their skills in AP US History and AP World History: Modern.

With DeAP Learning Lab, students can get instant feedback on their Short Answer Questions (SAQ), Long Essay Questions (LEQ), and Document-Based Questions (DBQ). This immediate support helps them build confidence and perform better on their exams.

The Learning Lab features a variety of AI tools like AskHeimler!, AP Gov, AP History, APUSH Tools, AP World Tools, and AP Euro Tools. Each tool is tailored to make learning history more engaging and manageable, especially for those who find essay writing challenging.

Thanks to a partnership with Heimler's History, these AI tools blend general AI insights with Heimler's unique teaching style, making the learning experience enjoyable and effective.

While DeAP Learning Lab’s tools are completely free to use, students have the option to support the development of these resources through donations. The lab is on a mission to answer one million questions at no cost to students and has already managed to fund answers for a quarter of a million AP questions!

It's worth noting that Advanced Placement® and AP® are registered trademarks of the College Board, and DeAP Learning Lab is independent from both the College Board and Heimler's History.
