MacGaiver

MacGaiver is a smart AI assistant for MacOS that helps you get answers without ever leaving your app.

With MacGaiver, you can easily get help or ask questions simply by hitting a keyboard shortcut, no matter what application you're currently in. This means you can stay focused on your work instead of juggling multiple windows or tabs.

The tool is powered by OpenAI's advanced GPT-V and Vision API, which means it’s pretty smart! When you activate MacGaiver, you can either type out your question or just speak it. This flexibility makes it super easy to use, depending on what you're comfortable with at the moment.

Once you've asked your question, MacGaiver takes a screenshot of whatever you're looking at. This snapshot, along with your query, is sent to the Vision API. What’s cool here is that MacGaiver understands exactly what you’re asking based on the context of the app you're using, so you get answers that are relevant and specific.

And here’s a neat feature: the responses come back to you in audio format. This makes it accessible and allows for quick feedback, so you can keep moving along with your tasks without missing a beat.
