Using Songmastr is straightforward and intuitive. To get started, simply upload a well-mixed song from your computer. It’s essential to ensure your mix has some volume headroom, which means not cranking it up all the way. While you can apply stereo compression if you want, it's better to avoid using a limiter since that will be handled during the mastering process.

One important tip is to choose a suitable reference track for your song. This reference should be within the same genre and vibe as your own music. If your track is more of a beat or an instrumental, it's advisable to pick a reference that doesn’t feature vocals, as this will yield better results.

Once you've uploaded your song, you’ll be taken to a page where you can download the mastered version after processing is complete. The real magic behind Songmastr is its foundation on Matchering, an open-source library. The AI analyzes your song and masters it to match various aspects such as the RMS, frequency response, peak amplitude, and stereo width of your selected reference track.

What makes Songmastr even better is that it’s completely free for mastering up to seven songs each week, and there’s no need to register or download any software! Just remember that your song files should be no longer than 10 minutes and less than 80MB to avoid any issues with server capacity.
